Welcome to
Xtreme
Fords of Atlanta XFoA™
Chad and Brian launched the original
site design in July of 2003 after speaking with Barry from FordPower.Net
about implementing a high profile website for the Southeastern region.
Since the club's inception of July 2003, we have refined our
website to give it a bold and aggressive look for 2009. We formed Xtreme
Fords of Atlanta, to present a well-rounded website dedicated to every
Ford car and truck in the Atlanta metropolitan area. XFoA, the club and
website were formed at the same time.
Members choose to browse
XFoA.Net
because not only do we cater to Mustangs and all other Ford vehicles but
our family-oriented atmosphere makes everyone feel welcome. We currently
get together every two weeks to eat at Larrys Giant Subs in Fayetteville,
GA. We also get together for special events such as car shows, cruises,
and big events like Fun Ford Weekend, the NMRA Nationals, and the SVT
Cobra Mustang Club (SCMC) track days hosted by George of MGWLTD, Inc.
By providing a family-friendly
atmosphere our club opens the doors to members that would not regularly
attend a club meeting. Members and Non-Members find it safe to bring
their wives, girlfriends, and small children without the worry of how
club members act. When the club meets we are a group and if one
can not control themselves they are asked to leave. Brian and I try to
maintain the atmosphere by having moderators that help to control the
content on the site as well as at the meetings. Also, we do not promote
street racing. We are partnered up with
www.streetsmartsusa.org to spread the word of taking it to the track
not to the streets.
We feel that Ford fans outside of
Georgia are attracted to us because of the inviting design among other
things. We make everyone feel at home whether they are a paid member or
just browsing. We welcome board members when they register to our site
and we feel this hospitality keeps them coming back. We believe in the
value of taking pride in what we do and taking care of our members. We
feel success means more than just money in our pockets.

Furthermore,
posting private information of individuals and/or companies
without their permission is prohibited. Such information
includes, but is not limited to, phone numbers, electronic mail
or physical addresses, and instant messenger contact
information.
16: Personal
Messages
The board has a
feature called 'Personal Message'. If you want to talk to
somebody on the board personally, use this feature instead of
creating a thread that's essentially useless to other people. To
use it, just click on the 'Personal Message' icon above
somebody's post. For convenience you can also enable e-mail
alerts when somebody messages you.
Due to the nature
of private messages, they are not moderated. If you are
repeatedly sent offensive material, please notify one of the
moderators. Please note that while we do not examine private
messages on a regular basis, we reserve the right to do so if we
are notified of users abusing the system. Keep this in mind when
sending sensitive material using this feature.
17:
Think before you post.
No
Racial, Sexist, Political Stances, or Negativity that may
offend others on this board and to those that are reading these
forums.
We believe that
everyone is entitled to their own point of view, but this does
not mean that you have to become negative, rude, distasteful,
etc. Adding to this forum your Anti-Muslim, Anti-Democrat, or
Anti-minorities sentiment is NOT TOLERATED in the LEAST!
We are not saying you have to believe in what anyone says, but
you do need to respect their view's. It is okay to be
disagreeable so long as it is done in a polite way. If you are
coming here with a grudge, vengeance or 'chip on your shoulder'
or if you feel you are over sensitive to various political /
religious / racial issues then it is recommended that you DO NOT
join this forum. We do not hesitate to ban / delete members that
fail to understand this concept.
18: Last rule..
Have fun and be good to each other. We have members from all
walks of life and drive various cars. Just because you have a
hotrod Honda right now does not mean you can’t be a member of
our web site. We know sometimes life throws us a curve ball and
we have to take the kind of vehicle we can afford.
Failure to
comply with these rules and guidelines may result in the removal
of the offending posts, as well as your posting privileges.
Since this is a privately owned message board, we reserve the
right edit or remove any posts for any or no reason whatsoever.
