Grill Delete Kit Install

This kit covers Mustangs from 1999-2003

Tools needed:
phillips head screwdriver
flathead screwdriver
very small ratchet driver w/ 9/32" bit
torx security bit and screwdriver to fit the pony's security screws

On to the installation

Step 1:

Remove the popup screws and other screws from the top of the grill and bumper as shown above. Press against the underside of the stock screws with the flathead screwdriver if you are having a problem removing the screws.

Step 2:

Remove the screws from the underside of the stock grill using the small ratchet and 9/32" bit. This is the part of the install that takes the most time.

Step 3:

Remove the stock grill.

Step 4:

Install the radiator cover piece. Push in the screws on both sides.

Step 5:

Slide the other part in place and put the stock screws(or pop-in screws) and the larger pop-in screws back into place. Close the hood if you wish cause you are done with that part.

Step 6:

Install the pony with the torx security screws.

That's all and you are done!
