installation
Tools
Needed:
Needlenose Pliers
Flathead Screwdriver
11MM Open End Wrench or Adjustable Wrench
Regular Pliers For Crimping
Awl or Icepick
Step 1:
Remove all the screws from the panels with a flathead screwdriver or
with your fingers if you can do so.
Step 2:
Start on the right side of the car. Hold the panel if you need to
and remove all of the screws from the fixture. Also note in the 2nd
picture there is a clip on each side. Rip those off when you
encounter them.
Step 3:
Take the tail light out and rest it on a towel so it doesnt scratch
your bumper. Leave the wiring harness plugged in.
Step 4:
Remove the inner bulb fixture. Remove the gasket from the fixture
and slide it up the wires. Poke a hole through the bottom to make a
3rd place for the wire to go through. Use the supplied wire with the
pigtail connection and put it through the hole in the gasket and
into the plug in the fixture. Use needlenose pliers to force the
pigtail into position. It is a tight fit. Put the gasket back into
the fixture after you are satisfied with the pigtail's fit.
Step 5:
Switch the inner fixture with the middle fixture. You might have to
cut some tape off or remove the bundle from their holders.
Step 6:
Now is when you get to install the module. Remove the tape from
around the wiring harness up to the grommet. Be careful not to cut
any wires. Using a quick-splice, connect the
RED module to the
turn signal wire. On the right side
of the car the turn signal wire is
orange with a blue stripe.
On the left side of the car
the turn signal wire is green with
an orange stripe. If there are
two seperate signal wires you can make a connection to either one.
Using another quick-splice, connect the
BLACK module wire to the
black(ground) harness wire.
Step 7:
Poke two seperate holes through the grommet and put the white and
blue wires through those holes towards the fixture.
Step 8:
Connect the white module wire to the new white pigtail wire on the
middle fixture using a wire nut. Twist them together and screw it
on... very easy. Cut the signal wire on the outside fixture about
3-4 inches away from the fixture and strip about a half an inch from
the end of that wire. Yes I know my picture shows the inner being
cut... but I also had to switch the inner and outer fixtures after
testing it lol. Connect the blue
module wire to the signal wire you just cut with a wire nut... twist
the wires together and twist the wire nut on. Cap off the other cut
1" harness wire with a wire nut. When you get done with all of
that... remove the old flasher from underneath the dash and plug in
the provided flasher just like in the 2nd picture. If it works...
repeat the steps and finish the left side.
WARNING: If you use the provided
cable ties to round up the wire nuts or for use around the
module.... keep them VERY LOOSE or it will damage the parts.
Step 9:
Finish cleaning up or whatnot and install the panels back into the
car. You are done! Go show off your car by taking A LOT of turns.

Service and shipping was extremely fast
and I'd definitely recommend this site to anyone else who wanted to
install sequential tail lights. It did come with instructions with
black and white photos but color pictures make all the difference.
