Replacing the fuel filter on a
fox body
This covers
all Mustangs from 79-93.

Tools
needed:
Flat head screwdriver
On to the Tune Up
Warning you will spill
gas during this install.
Step 1:
Let the car cool nothing like working on a hot car on a hot day. You
will need to slide under car from the back right of the center of the
vehicle. Look straight up behind the bumper.
Step 2:
Remove the plastic clips the using the flat blade screw driver and
loosen the worm clamp.
Again: Warning you will spill
gas during this install.
Step 3:
Place the new filter in its place clipping the hoses back in with the
new plastic clips. Do not reuse the old clips. Tighten the worm clamp.
Step
4:
Pour the TL3 cleaner in the tank.
Step 5:
Turn the key on several times to prime the new fuel filter and crank
the car and your done.
